Windows Update stops access RRS feed

    We installed Windows Update KB3035583 yesterday, April 5 2015, and were unable to access Windows the next morning.  Program simply said "User Profile not loaded", or something similar.  Had to start in protected mode and then revert to the previous set point.

    Any fixes out there?

    Have a Dell Vostro with Windows 7 Pro. Had similar difficulties about 7 months ago.

    Hi Snaps888,

    Is the service package 1 installed in the machine ?
    To install this update ,the Service Pack 1 should be installed .Here is a link for reference :

    If the service package 1 has been installed ,please run the following readiness tool and then manually install it to have a check.

    Apart from this ,please check the Event Viewer and the Windowsupdate.log (Search it directly)for more information to troubleshoot this issue .
