ATI Radeon Kernel mode driver problem RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi folks,

I am running Win-7 x64 and I am also getting the error message that the ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver is slowing down my computer.  I am not a gamer, I use my computer for mostly work related research on the web and email.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem, I have seen a lot of posts but no answers.

  • Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

    Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
Upload the .zip file here (if you can) to skydrive or a file sharing service

  • Hi,

Please update BIOS and chipset for test. Also update ATI driver.

If issue persists, I suggest to contact ATI support forum for driver problem.
