  • Before I bought the Altec Lansing AHS515 headset I had a Logitech headset and in order for that to work I have to adjust the headset's line in a certain way.  However when I try and use the Altec headset or my speakers it has a very distorted sound, I know the Altec headset and the speakers work because it works on my other computer.  I assumed it would be my sound card, but it doesn't make sense to me why my Logitech headset works but nothing else.  Are settings saved to the Logitech one that I have to reset or something?
