I can not sign in with my Microsoft Account in any Microsoft Application RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am Vicencio Merida, I have a HP ProBook 640 G1 with Windows 10 Enterprise (version 10.0.10586 Build 10586) and I use as a main account my Microsoft Office 365 account under my company Domain.

I have some issues with my Microsoft Account:

    • The only way that I found to configure my Microsoft Account in Mail, Calendar and People was through Settings-->Add an account-->Advanced setup-->Exchange ActiveSync. The direct way using Settings-->Account-->Add an account-->Outlook.com does not work, give me the following error:

"Something went wrong. We're sorry, but we weren't able to do that."

    "Error code: 0x800705b4"

    • My other problem is when a tried to use Microsoft Mail, Calendar, Groove, Windows Store or any Microsoft Application that request sign in with my Microsoft Account I got the following messages:

Windows Store: "We encountered an error. Please try signing in again later."

Groove: "Something went wrong. Try restarting the app, if the problem continues, it might help to restart you device."

    "0xc1010091 (0x80080300)"

  • Hi Vicencio,

Firstly, use DISM command to repair Windows image, make sure system is up to date.

Next, switch to local account and sign out, then reboot computer and re-login to test result.
