  • Hi SIlvina,

as i know, the Emulator has no access to the Microsoft Store.

You can to download hundreds of samples from http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/wpapps

ore from frome others sites like http://www.codeproject.com/.

You can import a sample to your visual Studio and compile it, for running in the Emulator.

  • You cannot use XAPs from the store in the emulator. Piracy is not a supported scenario.

The emulator is there for you to test your own apps in a WP8 environment. You have no reason to be running XAPs from the Store in the emulator. If it's your own company's apps, compile the app from your source and run that in the emulator.

You'll have to download them onto a device for that. Allowing them into the emulator would just ask for trouble.
