  • Hi,

    When did the issue occur?

What is the error message? Are there any error code recorded in Event Viewer (Windows Logs\Applications, Setup, System)?

How did you reinstall Windows 7 Pro, such as with an installation DVD or other method?

Please disable firewall and antivirus software temporarily, update your Windows to the latest through Windows Update. Navigate to Service panel to check if “Windows installer” service is exist.

If it is exist, try to restart it. If it is not exist, please reset the Windows Installer Service settings in the registry.

For detailed steps about reset, please refer to “Method 1” in “The Windows Installer Service Could Not Be Accessed" error when you try to install a program in Windows 7 or Windows Vista.

    Best regards,
