  • Question

  • Hi,

I was reviewing the requirements for becoming and MCT and noted we need to have be MCTIP certified?

Whats exams are required to get that in Project Server? i am aware of it in 2007? but there is no equivilant Pro exam.

Given that what route do we take to become certifed in Project Server/Professional Training?

    Thnaks,

  • Hello,

At the time to become MCITP in Project 2007 was necessary to perform the following tests:

    70-631
    70-632
    70-633

So you would have the title of MCITP.

    Reference Microsoft:

Now the Project 2010 version of this title no longer exists and certifications for this product only entitle the MCTS title.

The exams for certification Project 2010 are:

    70-177

    70-178

    Reference Microsoft:

    I hope I helped.

  • Thank you, unfortunately it seems like there is no MCITP for Project 2010.  This is poor and hopefully will be amended for 2013

  • I would recommend that you get MCITP for SharePoint 2010.  Project Server is just a feature of SharePoint and this would indicate that you understand the installatoin and configuration of both SharePoint and Project Server.

    Cheers!
