I'm upgrading from windows 8 to 10 and get the error 0xc000012f?Friday, July 29, 2016 10:20 PM

Please run a system file check (SFC) & DISM if you are on win 7 or higher

The error code 0xc000012f related to STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_NOT_MZ, it occurs when specified image file did not have the correct format.
To resolve this issue in the elevated command prompt, copy and paste the command below, press Enter.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
If this doesn't help then try to repair Windows 10:

Use installation or recovery media to get to startup settings:
1. Insert the USB drive or DVD and restart your PC. If you’re using recovery media, skip the next step
2. On the Install Windows page, select Repair your computer.
