Capacity, Base Capacity and Calculated Capacity always identical RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I created in Project Server 2010 (with OlapPortfolioAnalyzer template) an Excel Report which displays the 3 "capacity" fields on a timescale. But these 3 values are always identical for a time period, while I created non working days in the Standard calendar, and I recalculated the OLAP Cube.

    What did I miss?

    sorry, calculated capacity is still a mystery to me. No ieda what it is calculating.

    Regarding base capacity and capacity: These values are the same if there are no exception on resource level. So it will be the same for each working day as defined in your calendar (with respect to resource specifics like Max Units).

    If you entered a calendar exception manually in resource calendar or resource has entered administrative time for absence in timesheets, base capacity is kept unchanged, but capacity is reduced accordingly.
