Configure system failure and recovery options in Windows RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to configure Write Debugging Informationt via a Task Sequence (or Powershell) in MDT (prefer this than Unattend.xml). I want to set it to Small memory dump (256 KB).

  • There's nothing wrong with that, it's just a matter of what's a more efficient use of your time. If you had no plans to make a image update, then you can write a batch file and include it in your TS. Use wmic recoveros

wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 3

  • If you want all machines that use your image to have this setting, why not set it in Windows before you capture the image. It would be an easy adjustment to make and while you're at it you can patch Windows to make a more up to date image.
