Celestix UAG 2010 Update 1? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Since we cannot update our Celestix UAG to Update 1 (fails with error 1603) - could someone from Celestix (that monitors these newsgroups) comment on the availability of UAG 2010 Update 1 for the Celestix WSA series.

    Regards.

  • It should now be live, as below:

    ----

This is to announce that UAG update 1 has now successfully passed quality control and testing and can now be obtained through the ‘Software Updates feature from within the Celestix WebUI.

The direct link for update CKB200001 is as follows: http://sus2.celestix.com/display.asp?id=CKB200001

This update should ONLY be applied to WSA builds 2100 as later builds will already have update 1 pre-integrated. The build version of your appliance can be found on the front LCD panel or from within the Celestix WebUI -> System information.

Along with this is another WSA update which helps prevent potential issues that may derive from making changes to the system hostname or system IPs, plus the addition of some RAID and hardening enhancements.

A direct link for CKB200002 cannot be provided as this system specific and the WebUI will determine which units require the update.

As with any updates, Celestix always recommends taking a backup of UAG before updating your system, and where possible we would also encourage you to apply updates from within the WebUI, and not manually.

Feel free to distribute this email as appropriate but without modifying its contents, and please direct any questions or feedback to the Celestix Support teams whose contact details can be found here: http://www.celestix.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=47&Itemid=56&lang=en

  • We did an update last night.

Problems did not go away (other posts discuss these):

    • SSTP VPN still not working
    • UAG HAT rewrites hypertext links where it shouldn't

  • These are not mentioned in the update - you hoping to get lucky? ;)
