Network segregation for two offices in same building using shared physical media and broadband/WiFi/Printer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have two offices in a building. All users are connected to a switch which is connected to a broadband WiFi router and a separate windows server 2012 R2 ADDNS & DHCP. Their is a shared multi-function printer on premises. One of the office has their separate domain while the other office is a workgroup, all obtaining IP from the same DCCP server and are on the same physical and logical network. User connected to WiFi have direct access to Network resources and that's why we want to have two separate WiFi access, one for office staff and other for guests.

Now, What we want to achieve is to segregate the network in a way where both offices are on separate networks; both LAN and wifi but still have access to shared resources i.e printer and broadband. And one guest WiFi network for outsiders.

Advice on hardware and configurations will be much appreciated!
