Skype Room System (HW) installations RRS feed

  • Hello,

    In the past , to do installations of Lync Rooms System or Smart Rooms System it was required to be certified as an “SMART Factory Trained Installer” (SFTI) . As of today, do we have any training/certification dependencies in order to support/install Skype Room System HW?

  • Hi Jakub,

    In my research, we have certification dependences in order to support/install Skype Room System.

    1)Installing the certificate basically involves copying the root CA chain file to “C:\Skype Room Systems\x64\Scripts\Provisioning\CAcertificate.cer”.

    2)Run the following command

    certutil -addstore -f -enterprise root <filepath>

    If there are multiple root CAs, then multiple root CA certificates must be installed using the same cmdlet.
