Please write down the exact error message received like the following one:

The following features were not installed:
WCF Activation
HTTP Activation
Non-HTTP Activation
What is the .NET Framework version on your system? If the above error is received, according to my research, the error can occur if the **Shared Configuration**
feature was enabled on the server. Please try disabling the **Shared Configuration** feature of IIS 7.0 and then install the WCF Activation feature to check the results.
If the issue persists, please run the
System Update Readiness Tool. Refer to:
Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, for Windows Server 2008, for Windows 7, and for Windows Server 2008 R2

Two log files will be automatically generated after you install this tool:
%SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
