Database Sizing for FIM 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • We will implement a FIM project, and we will synchronize 90,000 active directory accounts, there are 3 Management Agent (MA), two of which are connected to SQL Server views (MASQL1 and MASQL2) and another MA connects to Active Directory, an MA(MASQL1), will 5000 connect accounts, the other MA (MASQL2) will connect 85,000 accounts. And let's synchronize 20 Active Directory attributes

I need to calculate the size of FIM_Synchonization database for 3 years, and their
transaction per second during synchronization step.

    Thanks for any help

  • If you ask for 50GB of space I expect you'll be just fine with lots of room to grow. As to the transactions per second, that's something that you're just going to have to try and collect some data specific to your environment.
