  • Hi,

“when i try to do both of them it wont let me do it at all”

Are there any error messages occur?

If you haven’t privilege to rename the folder, try to run the following command as administrator to take owner ship of the folder.

    takeown /f <folder path and name> /r /d y

Error code 80072EFE  means “error internet connection aborted”.

I found there is a similar case as yours, you could try those steps such as check background programs, stopping Cryptographic Service then rename and delete Catroot2.

For detailed information, please refer to Robbin Meng’s post.

    Best regards,

    Joy.
