How to Modify Client Configuration by Using Windows PowerShell RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to remove my computer (the client computer) from an unauthorized remote deployment situation.

I know my computer is configured as a client to a remote host without my permission, due to several factors including what is installed on my computer.
Can someone please kindly tell me how to remove my computer from Remove-AppVClientConfiguration, including all of the numerous registry items i do not feel compfortable editing at the moment? Please?

  • The app-v client is installed with your OS (Windows 10) on enterprise and student versions... I'm not sure what you mean with "remove my computer from Remove-AppVClientConfiguration". This commandlet is used to configure App-V settings on your client. If the appv service is disabled, you're unable to use app-v packages. What do you want to accomplish?
