phenom non-boot RRS feed

  • vista ultimate machine...recently upgraded to phenom quad 9650...asus m3a board...removed all drives, etc except boot drive & dvd drive..removed all mem except 2gigs...of course, cannot boot...win recovery environ. no help...stop mesage

    0x0000007b   tried hotfix..ng  i know that the board works..i saw it boot at the parts dealer..memory good too .......any suggestions for bios adjustments would be welcome..any other help PLEASE..this my 12 th box but first with phenom..i feel dumfounded..tried for 3 weeks

    The issue may be caused by incorrect SATA mode settings. You can try to go to BIOS setting and change the boot drive setting.
