Producing Task Lists from Resource Pool RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I am now of MS Projects and gradually finding my way around the product, however for a work task I need to urgently produce a task list for our team.

The challenge I have is that I have over 40 Projects running, multi staff split across the projects and they want a combined task list (so Mr Smith can see next week he has 10 tasks due, across the whole portfolio of work).

I am using a resource pool for all of the projects in flight, so Mr Smith is allocated to each project from the same resource pool.

Is there a way I can look up Mr Smith in the Resource Pool, and produce a list (even if a simple list to export into Excel) of all his tasks across all the projects?

Sure there will be an easy answer, just struggling to find it myself or using youtube etc.

In the shared resource pool file, apply the Resource Usage view.  Collapse all of the resources, then expand each resource on at a time to print their task list.  Hope this helps.
