Forefront keeps reporting malware found, but report and full scan reveal nothing RRS feed

  • Hi.

    During a search on the network, MS FF has found a couple of Malware infected files.

    Now more then a week later, everyday, I receive about 12 mails from FF reporting that my system is infected with malware. Then when going to the system report, it does not show these messages anymore. Neither does a full scan reveal anything.


    Please advise

    Thank you for your post.

    I understand that the Malwares infected with clean failed a week before, then you clean the Malware manually. But the alerts have not be set to resolved in FCS, so you received the alert email to report same Malwares.
    Please logon FCS server, open MOM operator console, Select All:Alert Views-- Alerts--select and find the malware alert--right click to select Set Alert Resolution State to Resolved.
