  • Question

  • Hello
    When i call 5149873000 communicator get connected but i do not receve audio. To debug I start office communication servers 2007 R2 logging tool. I redo the call that get connected with audio this time. Affer doing the test many times (10 or more) on different day and time I have concluded that the logging tool always solve the problem. I can not log the problem. I have installed all the january updates.

    So what does the loging tool do that solve the problem????

    Merci

  • Hello again
    The problem comes from the Early Media Support=always setting on the Media Gateway (dialogic DMG2000).
    When I set to NO the problem goes away but it case other problem.

    Logging on the gateway I get for the problem with Early Media Support=always
    02-16 15:12:58.471 [VoIP      ] Prot     <----SIP/2.0 180 Ringing
    02-16 15:12:58.487 [VoIP      ] Prot     <----SIP/2.0 200 OK
    02-16 15:12:58.487 [VoIP      ] Prot     ---->ACK sip:+15149873000@10.19.3.55:5060;transport=tcp SIP/2.0
    02-16 15:12:58.704 [VoIP      ] Prot     ---->BYE sip:+15149873000@10.19.3.55:5060;transport=tcp SIP/2.0

    Logging on the gateway I get when no problem with Early Media Support=always

    02-16 15:17:00.554 [VoIP      ] Prot     <----SIP/2.0 180 Ringing
    02-16 15:17:00.554 [VoIP      ] Prot     <----SIP/2.0 200 OK
    02-16 15:17:00.571 [VoIP      ] Prot     ---->ACK sip:+15149873000@10.19.3.55:5060;transport=tcp SIP/2.0
     and the call get thru

    So notice that ---->BYE  comes from OCS right after then ---->ACK but on communicator the call is still showing connected.

    What is wrong here???

    Merci
