Is there any way to add a device into scom which will be monitored through ICMP? I see there's a way to do this through snmp but icmp is really what we want to accomplish.Friday, October 29, 2010 3:22 PM

Maybe you can use the free Ping Management Pack from Opslogix http://opslogix.com/?p=ping

If you want monitor the device with ping, you can try to create a script based monitor. Please refer to:
