    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-identity-manager/install-mim-sync-ad-service

Trying to do the initial synchronization with the FIM Service Management Agent. It keeps producing an Error on the Export job.

  • Hi,

You need to ensure that you flow the Domain attribute.

  • I believe I have the flow setup for the Domain attribute. In the MIM portal, in Synchronization Rules, in Inbound Attribute Flow tab, there is an Attribute Flow condition created for my domain. It would look like "domain" => domain

My domain name is a "String" value so that I could type my domain name in.

  • Hi,

So your second problem is that you, somehow, are trying to flow duplicate values for the attribute ObjectSID. Is this attribute included in your flow?

  • Actually no.  Just following the installation and configuration instructions in the link from my original post.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-identity-manager/install-mim-sync-ad-service

So you are suggesting a problem with the configuration.  I have been through the Synchronization rules against the instructions.  I cannot find a mistake as of yet.  The instructions do make assumptions and are not as detailed as I would like them to be.  I am new to this after all.
