  • Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible and how I can view who is getting alerted on any new announcement I put on my SharePoint site?

    Thanks

  • If you go to the site that the announcement list is on, and go to the site settings (from the Site Actions menu), under Site Administration there's an option for 'User Alerts'. It will show what users have alerts for that specific site, and what way the alert is setup.

  • Dabing,

You can find the users who set themselves to get alerted for Announcements via "User Alerts" option under Site Administration as steven mentioned above, but this option will only provide us the frequency of alerts with no information as what the "Change type" would be. As OOTB, it will not let you know, who are the users alerted for new announcements.

In order to view the User Alerts option, you need to have full conrtol permission in the site.
