Intelepeer siptrunk to connect to mediation server, will this support exchange 2010 sp1 UM as well? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Going to have an Intelepeer siptrunk connection to our Lync mediation server.  Have not setup exchange 2010 UM integration yet to Lync, but will a DID from Intelepeer work out for exchange autoattendant, etc...?  I'm thinking any calls to these DID go to the mediation server then to Exchange UM, almost like autoattendant is EV enabled.  Am i way off base here?  I'm kind of understand that if we terminated the siptrunk to a gateway we could route DIDs to exchange UM from the gateway, but since Intelepeer is a siptrunk w/out gateway solution I want to make sure it will still work for Exchange UM.  thanks

  • Hi,

there shouldn't be any problem with this setup. Once you deploy the UM, configure the Auto Attendant with a Pilot identifier. integrate UM with Lync Server and get the Lync to forward the incoming DID number to sent to UM Autoattendant.

    Thamara.
