outlook is missing from the indexing options in windows search RRS feed

    We installed a new 2016 server farm with office 2016 for a couple of honderd users, however the search in outlook fails which is realy a problem for many users.

    In our search to find the solution we found out the search index does not display the outlook icon anymore, while on my personal laptop with allso office 2016 it does (see capture 1 & 2 as attachement to this msg)

    So it seems to me we need to get the outlook icon back in the index options.

    HOW DO WE DO THAT!!!??

    Please advise?

    Hi,

    This issue may occur after installing the following Windows Update:

    KB 4467684: November 27, 2018—KB4467684 (OS Build 14393.2639)

    Microsoft is aware of and investigating the issue.
    As a workaround, you can open your Windows command prompt, type sfc /scannow, press Enter and restart Outlook to alleviate the symptoms.
