July Win10 Updates RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Getting ready to approve July updates today and noticed for the Win10 versions we currently have deployed (1703, 1709 and 1803) there are two cumulative updates, one dated 7/10 and the other 7/16.

Do I need to approve both or just the one dated 7/16?

  • Hello Terchrep43,

    Glad to help.

you should approve the one dated 7/16 because it replaces the former one.

For example, for 1803, KB4345421 dated 7/16 replaces KB4338819 dated 7/10. And it is the same for 1709 and 1703.

What's more, the latest update is dated 7/24 which replaces all above updates updated 7/16 and 7/10.

You can check the update history from here:

And check the update details from Microsoft Update Catalog:

Hope my answer could help you.

    Best Regards,

    Ray Jia
