End of XP support clarification RRS feed

  • Question

  • After April 8, how can I download and install the very last updates which were last available for XP? Will the "Check for Updates" tab still work for this?

I have many computers to perform this on; what is the best / fastest way to perform this procedure?

Will existing updates still be available via Windows Update after April 8, 2014?

Yes, all existing Windows XP updates and fixes will still be available via Windows Update and WSUS.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So yes you should still be able to get the most up to date updates the same way you download them now.

  • Yes you can.

The fastest way will be to setup a WSUS, download all updates and start deploying locally..
