Hello, I have a Central Site in the US and Primary Child Sites in other regions around the world. I am considering implementing BITS throttling on clients via the BITS tab on the Computer Client Agent Prioperties dialog on each site server.
What time zone should I bee thinking about when I configure this? or will the clients simply know that it applys to their local time? I am considering a typical 8 AM to 6 PM start and end time.
It is always client local time, so you should plan for that. I normally never ever configure BITS to control the client traffic.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Thanks for the answer on Local Client Time. But that brings up another quick question. Why don't you "normally" configure BITS for client traffic? How do you deal with network saturation of slow networks?
