DPM 2012 Powershell copy from tape to specified location RRS feed

  • Hi Gents,

We have just moved from DPM 2010 utilizing a old LTO1 tape drive to a new DPM 2012 server using a LTO5 tape drive. What I am currently doing with the old tapes is coping the data from the LTO1 tape to a network location then use the new DPM 2012 server to write the data to a LTO5 tape drive.

This can be done via the GUI, which I have already started, but I was wondering if I can do this via powershell to speed up the process? i.e run powershell commands to dump the data from the old tapes to a network location.

On a side note, is there an issue with Title text box when asking a question in IE9? Why i ask is that I can't enter in any data in the text box. I had to use firefox to input a title...
