slow connection

Outlook 2013 and Exchange 2010

We have seen Outlook has slow connection and did trace.
find lots of retransmission between client and domain controller
(windows 2008 R2 DC)
Is there a way to troubleshoot? checked NIC and only got two

Hi Angela,

Thank you. We fount out the issue is due to domain controller registers nonexist IP address. Some one created DNS A record manually. will this generate lots of retransmission when outlook users try to connect?

Hi,

To narrow down the cause, I recommend the following troubleshooting:
1. Check the list named protocol, Req\Fail on the connection status when the issue happens.

2. Check if the slow connection issue happens on all users.
