Two Readyboosts running on one machine - and not too well RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm running two Vista-running computers, one Business (a Dell laptop) and one Ultimate (an HP desktop). Both have the same problem.

Both use 4GB USB electronic keys as their Readyboosters, the laptop a Sandisk Cruzor and the desktop a Sony.

When only the Readyboost keys are inserted in a USB port everything works wonderfully well.

If I try to insert another electronic key for data manipulation everything slows down drastically and the new electronic key starts flashing in sync with the Readyboost key, even when the new data key has been prior-rejected for Readyboost operation.

Is this a strange "feature" or is this a bug?
