External users not able to expand DL and view members

Question
-
We just moved to Exchange 2007 from 2003. Everything is OK except that a user who connects from home, etc (outside the internal network) cannot expand the members of a DL. They can send to the DL and all other mail functionality is OK. But when the go to add a DL as the recipient to a new mail and go to Properties, the members are blank. You can see the properties properly for a regular user.
Thanks

It turns out they were still using Outlook 2003 and that is why they had the issue.

hi,
What's the client do the user use? If he use outlook, please try owa vice verse.
How many users meet the issue? All are in home(external network)?
If you can, please post a screenshot.
