how to upgrade windows 7 to windows 10 using WSUS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Expert,

I am new to WSUS system, but managed installed on windows 2012 R2 server. (So should be WSUS 4.0)

Now I need upgrade company 200 windows 7 to windows 10 silently. I prefer to schedule 10 per day, I check the WSUS setting, currently only security and critical update are alert, how can I get the windows 10 update so I can link to GPO to get it test.

I am new to the patch management system, and any suggestion is much appreciated

    SM

  • Hi,

You may try MDT/WDS. It is recommended to deploy a upgrade installation through MDT.

I checked this post and it told WSUS is for hotfix and patch, not for OS installation. it need SCCM to achieve, however we don't have SCCM, is there other can try?

    Thanks again
