Exchange 2007 SP3 and Windows Server 2012 Domain Controllers RRS feed

  • Question

  • I posted this in the Windows Server 2012 forum but got directed to post here, here goes:

I have an environment with 2003 DCs and Exchange 2007 SP3.

We are thinking about upgrading (replacing) our DCs to 2012 with 2008 R2 functional level.

Is Exchange 2007 SP3 officially supported by Microsoft on this setup? Will it work with WS2012 DCs?

  • Hi,
I haven't seen anything officially written about the subject and until it is, I would recommend you to wait with replacing your Domain Controllers to 2012.

  • There is no information on DC 2012 supportbility untill now. I won't suggest you upgrade to DC 2012.Your understanding would be appreciated.

  • Hi Fiona_Liao

Windows server 2012 has been on the market for a while now, is there any new information if it’s supported to upgrading to Active Directory 2012. The link you posted is updated in 2012-10-03 but there is nothing about AD 2012.
