Disconnect SharePoint Task List from Project MPP? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using fully patched Project 2010 Pro ... I've successfully use the Project's feature to connect to a SharePoint task list. For the first time I've found need to "disconnect" the MPP file from the SharePoint list.  I can find no way to do this.

The way to do this is probably hiding in plain site, but all i can think of doing is the brute force export the MPP into an XML file, re-import into a new MPP file.

    Is there a better way?

  • Hello Rob,

In the above scenario are we trying to remove the URL from sync with Tasks List from Project Professional MPP file.

    If So, then

    > File

    > Save and Send

    > Sync with Tasks List

    > Remove the URL and save the file locally.

    Cheers!!! Happy Troubleshooting!!!
