How can I create a SET based upon the Source ADMA user object OU attribute? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been reading the TechNet docs and my book "Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2 Handbook" but I have not figured out yet how to create a SET based upon the Source ADMA user object OU attribute? Is this possible?

    Thanks, Stu

  • 1. Extend MV schema. Create a new string attribute called OU

    2. Create an advanced import flow rule in AD MA dn --> OU.  Write the code to get OU which is part of DN.

    Sudo code:

    If CsEntry.Dn.ToString.Contains("NameOU")

    {

    mventry["OU"].Value ="NameOU";

    }

    else

    {

    mventry["OU"].Value ="";

    }

    3. Extend Portal Schema. Create a new string attribute called OU. Make sure it is indexed.

    4. Create a SET - Criteria (OU=<NameOU>)

    DONE.
