Outlook 2013 calendar, new meeting, Looks strange. RRS feed

  • Question

  • When ever I want to create a new meeting, the landing page looks strange.
Like it hasn't finished a previous task.
This is done on my work PC, with connection to exchange server.

I think I need to reset outlook settings.

In control panel, mail32. I have deleted the profile, and created a new one.
But it is still, the same, when I try to create meeting.

If I make a new appointment, it looks normal, and there I can add people, the same way as with new meeting.
    (This is my workaround)

Is there any way to reset outlook? Or have anyone seen this problem before?

I will add a picture, as soon as possible.

  • Hi Bjarne,

I compared your picture with my New Meeting window. There are some further button in your screenshot:

There is a TeamShare group which is not the default settings in Outlook. I would like to confirm if you have done any customized setting or form used for Outlook calendar.

Please right-click your Calendar folder, select Properties, in the General tab, check the setting "When posting to this folder, use: IPM.Appointment". Confirm if other personal forum is used in this setting.

Additionally, please try to start Outlook in safe mode: Press Win+R to open Run in Windows, type Outlook /safe, press Enter to start Outlook. Confirm if the New Meeting issue persists in safe mode.
