Inaccurate Lync counts for MAP 9.1 RRS feed

  • We ran the inventory and it collected information about our Lync 2013 environment.

    It came back with 5326 users (5326 standard, 79 enterprise, 5303 plus) and 808 devices (808 standard, 86 enterprise, 134 plus).

    The reality of our environment is that we have ~75 enterprise users and ~4 common area phones that would require a device CAL.

    When looking at the Lync Usage Tracker spreadsheet, it is showing that the bulk of the items are phone calls placed (some counted at least twice), not objects in AD or anything.

    Is there some magic to getting accurate Lync counts or should it just be excluded so it doesn't skew the numbers for any of the other reports?
