Computer Settings of GPO

-
We are in the process of our Migration of Server 2003 to Server 2008 R2. We had 1 Server 2003 R2 Standard DC and 1 Server 2008 R2 Standard DC. Our 2008R2 DC crashed and when we attempt to create and promote our new Server 2008R2 VM, we are unable to because of Group Policy Issues. Upon running gpresult /v gpreport.txt I noticed that all our servers are trying to apply the computer settings from the old 2008R2 DC that crashed and the User settings from the current 2003 R2 DC. How do I direct all our servers to use 2003 R2 DC GPO's and not have it looking for the old 2008 R2 DC that is no longer existent?

ANd also make sure AD DS,DNS,AD site and services,DFS records update.
Check the fsmo roles holder, run "netdom query fsmo" your avaible dc have to fsmo roles holder,if not, just size the fsmo roles to your avaible DC,

- "All our current servers are still looking for that 2008r2 DC to apply group policy" How did you check that, you mean on "gpresult /v "...
Could you try promote a new server 2008 r2 to domain again??
