Meeting requests made by others and then cancelled are popping back into invited user's calendar after Office 365 Migration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Recently we have migrated to Office 365 and we have had so many issues with people booking meeting rooms and their calendars. Some are described below.

For example, User A has setup a meeting, then cancelled it and User B removed it from his calendar and then at some point later it pops back by itself. User A has had to cancel it few times!

Also Calendars not Updating - not Indicating free or busy correctly.

Outlook Calendar meeting declined then it reappearing minutes later back in user's Calendar.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi ash.batra,

Thanks for posting in our forum.

To help narrow down the issue, please try to temporarily stop using Outlook client and check if the issue continues in OWA.

If it works fine in OWA, the issue might be related to the Internet connection in your environment.

If the issue persists when testing in OWA, the problem may be more relevant to the sever side. Then here we mainly focus on general questions about Outlook client, if you need further assistance on this, it is encouraged to post to the following dedicated Exchange Online forum:

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
