Project 07 Wizard replacement for 2010? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there all, I train folks here in Nepal on the wonders of using PM tools, and when I taught MS Project 2007 I used the Project Wizard as a guide, and students really liked it. But in 2010 there is no wizard, so I was wondering what the equivalent learning tool is? I downloaded the Quick Reference Guide, and that seems close, but not as integrated into the program as I would like. Anything else? Well, thx for helping this first time caller to technet!

  • Hi Jiggy,

There are some features in 2007 which don't have equivalents in 2010. Quick Reference Guide is a good start; You can download few basic online tutorials or buy a MS Project 2010 book working forward. You are most Welcome to the Forum :)

Download MS Project 2010 Interactive Guide : http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=784

  • Hello Jigs,

As Sapna noted, MS Project 2010 Interactive Guide is a good one.

And pls also check this one (Maybe you've already seen that thread ?): http://blogs.msdn.com/b/project_programmability/archive/2010/04/30/getting-the-project-guided-to-show-up-in-project-2010.aspx
