  • Please share recovery tools

Based on my knowledge, there is no build-in tools to directly repair OST file in Outlook.

If you are using Exchange cached mode, it is recommended to create a new profile and setup new email account for a new OST file. It can download and sync all mailboxes data to new OST file. No needs to repair the corrupt OST file.

If you are using PST file for non-Exchange account, we can use the Inbox Repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to repair PST file:

  • Hi, Can you please tell which Outlook version you are using? Microsoft Outlook has provided inbuilt utility to repair damaged OST file data. First, try to repair your OST file manually. For this, you can use SCANPST.EXE in Outlook 2010 and later versions. ( Basically, this is inbox repair tool provided by Microsoft to resolve minor level corruptions. ) Or in case you are using Outlook below Outlook 2010 versions then try to repair by Using Integrity Checker. In case these manual workarounds don't work then try to recover data by using recovery tools.
