Windows 10 hhd to ssd migration

Question
-
So i bought an SSD(adata) 240gb i migrate the windows 10 from hdd(WD 640gb) to ssd. After migration i format and delete the C drive from hdd and allocate all space to one partition.
The problem is when i start the computer everything is perfect until i go to device manager and i don;t see my hdd.
I try to go in bios and is undetected. So i changed the sata cables no luck.
I manage to find a solution but is not permanent(i know sound stupid).I remove the ssd and i start the pc and surprize... the hdd is detected in bios. After the that i connect the ssd too and its detected too all good.I put primary boot SSD and when i go to device manager it appear ssd and hdd but the problems is when i restart/shutdown hdd dissapear again :| i have no solution left.
Any suggestions?my motherboard is MSI z97 PC MATEFriday, November 27, 2015 11:19 PM

Hi JohnnyPeTo,
That might be caused by the BIOS initialization. When startup, BIOS woul turn off the ports that is not in use, or if there are any conflicts.
Please plug in HDD first, after that, make SSD the primary boot and when booted into system, format HDD with free space.
After that, Restart the machine and open Disk management to check if we could see the HDD.
Regards

Consider changing BIOS settings to AHCI.

PS: I do not delete "old" HDD until I know the migrated operating system work as expected.
