  • Hello, I will install 5 Hyper-V Server 2016 without GUI and i have a few questions

    Its free?

    Can I clustered them? Can you give me an step by step?

  • Agree with Dave, but be careful about the 'free' assumption.  Yes, the software for Hyper-V Server is no cost - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-hyper-v-server-2016.  But all operating systems used by the VMs must be licensed.  So if you plan to use Windows Server operating system instances, you will still need to purchase the appropriate Windows licenses and assign them to the hosts, so there are still costs involved in production deployments.
