Question

Hi
How can we find out which application is using which port like google talk, web interface applications like Trend Micro Antispyware EE etc. so that ports can be configured.
Thanks

1. How can we do that (trace signatures)
By Using WireShark , read more here : http://www.carbonwind.net/ISA/HTTPSig/HTTPSig1.htm
2. I have EE antispyware and it is blocked via ISA 2006 EE and I want that it should update clients, therefore I need to know how to identify ports used by applications.
For this, check the product website, they will provide you with the info needed.

Tarek

Hi,
all new IM and P2P apps do not use special ports.
They started to use HTTP & HTTPS protocols.
To Block them, you have to know their signature.
