Public Folder Recursive Permissions AddUsersToPFRecursive how can i give 2 Permissions at once RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Forum,

i am running Exchange 2010 SP3. I would like to add 2 Permissions to the AddUsersToPFRecursive.ps1 - Command at once.

    My command looks like:

AddUsersToPFRecursive.ps1 -TopPublicFolder "\Testfolder_1" -user "User" -Permission FolderOwner, ReadItems

Please be aware that the Permission Owner differs from the Permission FolderOwner.

But i want to make sure that certain users have exactly these 2 Permissions (FolderOwner AND ReadItems).

So that these Users are able to extend their permissions by them self.

    Thank you for your support

  • This script is not able to handle 2 Permissions at once unless you modify the script it self.

    found here, unfortunatly in german:

    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/de-DE/

To google for "AddUsersToPFRecursive.ps1 multiple permissions" should help to find the same information in english.

Who ever likes to change his AddUsersToRecursive.ps1 - script  AT HIS OWN RISK

    can modify the line:

    [String] $Permissions = ""

    to

    [String[]] $Permisions = ("")

    Regards

PS. special thanks to the person who made it work !
