Windows 8 Connecting to New Wireless Network RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi have installed Windows 8 on my MacBook Pro Retina Display 15" via Bootcamp.

Everything works perfectly, except for when I try to connect to a new wireless network. it just hangs on trying to connect and I cant even hit CANCEL.

However if I create the network profile and reboot my machine it connects to the wireless network via the profile with no dramas.

but as soon as I want to connect to a new wireless network it just hangs. I cant cancel out.

anyone seen this before? can you help pls?

  • So what prevents you from creating and using network profile to reach wireless?

I would use network monitor to catch the trafic. Also check the logs for resolution.

PS: I quite not catched if thsi is clean POSE or VOSE.

  • The device drivers are provided by Bootcamp. I suggest you contact Apple support for more assistances.
