    I have a problem with vista. When I have installed it it is going and after it has extracted the files and installed it goes to reboot and run off vista i keep getting this error. It comes up when its booting.
    windows/system32/winload.exe is missing

    0XC000000E

    Also, can I install vista without burning the file to DVD??

    I also got this error msg 0xc000000e for winload.exe. 

    I installed a 250GB hd so that I could install Vista Beta 2 as a 2nd OS.  I ran the install from WinXP, Vista was installing, and then the system did a normal reboot, only I got that winload.exe error.  I then noticed that my BIOS didn't see my new harddrive correctly.  I had to update the BIOS to make sure the 250GB drive was seen durring boot, not just from within XP.  Once I fixed that, Vista loaded normally.  I hope that helps.
