Outlook 2010 and index RRS feed

  • Yesterday I reindex an Outlook user mailbox, and it was working fine.  Today it stopped him for searching anything where yesterday it worked great!  Has anyone run into this issue?

    Have you installed any updates between today and yesterday? Please go to Windows Updates to check the installed updates on Windows and Office, especially checking for the Windows updates released on June 13. There are some know issue including search index issue in Outlook after installing some June 2017 security updates. You can confirm it in the following article:

    If there is no updates installed and not the updates results the issue, please try the following steps to narrow down it:

        • Install the following updates:  
  • Windows 10 - KB4032695 
    1. In Windows Explorer, do files or folder search to confirm if the Windows search works. 
    2. Start Outlook 2010 in safe mode (Press Win+R to open Run in Windows, type Outlook /safe, press Enter to start Outlook), do a mailbox searching to have a try.
    3. In Outlook 2010, click File > Help, collect the detailed Outlook version number under About Microsoft Outlook.
